NORTHERN CIRCUIT SAFARI
Most people who travel to Tanzania prefer a Northern Circuit Safari as this is where the migration of wildebeest and zebra occurs every year. Most safaris on this circuit begin and end in Arusha.
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
The world famous wildlife sanctuary with an altitude of 1,400 m and area. of 14,763 Sq Km. . Serengeti means "endless plain" in the Masai language, and refers to the flat grassy plain. Serengeti contains about 4 million types of animals.
All BIG 5 animals are found here are Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffallo.
Also it has more than 35 species of animals who can be seen are wild beast, tipi, gazelles, giraffe, hippo, eland, antelope, hyena, Impala, cheetah, warthogs, baboons, monkeys.
These animals can be seen throughout the year, the best time to see them in plenty between October to May.
Serengeti is well known for the spectacular animal migration of wild beast, gazelle & zebra with predator's lion, cheetah & wild dogs.
Migration takes place in May / June. During migration more than 3 million animals move clockwise in search of grazing & water.
Also there are more than 500 species of birds are ostrich, koru, etc
Balloon safari is unique and will give enjoyment to ultimate safari. Early morning safari enables one to sail across the plains, watching the wildness as they rise from slumber at the break of the day. Advance booking is advisable.
Getting there: 6 hours drive by road / 1 hour flight by air from Arusha.
